Hi there! My name is Leah Del Rosario, and I’m a Filipina-American actor, singer, and movement artist, who recently graduated from Boston University School of Theatre with a BFA in Acting. Currently living in New York as a Southern California Native, I am bicoastal between Los Angeles and New York!

I currently continue my acting training with Ellie Heyman, focusing on Chekhov’s psychophysical connection and Meisner partnering. This past year, I starred in short film Mail Woman Lady Girl by Caroline Dean, a surrealist and vibrant coming-of-age story about a mail carrier finding herself through the people in her neighborhood. I also originated the role of Barb in SheNYC Theatre Festival’s Dead Air by Kristen Milburn, a new play about 4 high school girls running a radio show during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Other credits include playing my dream role of Eli in Let the Right One In (Actor’s Shakespeare Project), Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again. (BU), Orlando (BU), and Troilus and Cressida (LAMDA). I absolutely loved my training at LAMDA’s Programme in Classical Acting, and one of my dreams is to live and work in London one day.

I have a specific passion for the process of developing new works and devising! I find collaboration to be the most thrilling and fulfilling part of this craft. I had the honor of being the movement captain for a choreopoem production of Lorca’s Yerma, where I worked closely with highly acclaimed movement director Yo-El Cassell. I was also trusted to participate in the development of the new works Priscilla by Edward Sturm, and The Corruption of Morgana Pendragon by Mckayla Witt, which both had their world premiere on BU’s mainstage.

Outside of performing, I spend my time writing, taking care of my plants, playing music with my friends, and moving my body however feels good. I am a strong believer in wonder, embracing fear, and dark chocolate anything.

Thanks so much for being here. Let’s do something together!!
